Automotive Design

As a self confessed BMW fanboy (and a complete car design hobbyist), I love dabbling in the world of car design.

BMW XM to X Coupé Study

When BMW revealed the BMW MX to the world in 2022, it was received with mixed emotions. Personally, I love what they've done with the car.

But it also made me wonder... what would that same design look like

as a Sports Coupé?

So, without changing the design, I merely changed the proportions and overall size. The result has drawn mixed reactions from the public, too. But, I will argue and say, isn't it interesting and thought provoking? Why not?

BMW 6 Series - As a 911 competitor

In 2018, BMW announced the discontinuance of the regular 6 Series in favor of the new 8 Series. They also noted that the 6 Series could be turned into more of a sports car aimed at the Porsche 911 segment.

This is my take on such a car. A front engine rear wheel drive supercar. The engine and much of the running gear would be straight from the M4. Emphasis would be on light weight and maneuverability with great steering wheel communication. Performance over luxury.

BMW M GT - An answer to the AMG GT

As Mercedes Benz debuted their latest supercar model, the AMG GT, many BMW enthusiasts were getting more and more frustrated that such a model did not exist from BMW.

I wanted to see what such a BMW could look like, so I created this concept study that I called the M GT.

Front engine rear wheel drive layout, running gear straight from the M6 with an emphasis on light weight and performance. Great front end communication would be key as the weight distribution would be 50/50.
